What DPI actually means here
DPI is just pixels divided by inches. The same file is 300 DPI at one size and half that at double the size — nothing about the file changes, only how far you stretch it. 300 is the usual bar for DTF and DTG; below 250 you start to see it in fine lines and small text first.
