My design vanishes on a dark shirt
Not enough contrast between the artwork and the garment — and on very fine detail, the white underbase may not be laid at all.

What is actually happening
Dark garments need a white layer printed first, with the colour on top. The RIP pulls that white layer in slightly from the edge so it does not peek out, which means anything thinner than roughly twice that inset gets no white behind it and prints as shirt colour. Separately, dark artwork on a dark shirt simply has little contrast to begin with.
How to fix it
- 1.Check the file with your garment colour selected — the scan compares the two directly.
- 2.Look at the white ink reading: it measures how much of the design is too thin to hold an underbase.
- 3.Thicken hairlines and small text, or print larger. The same artwork at a bigger size clears the threshold.
